The Grassroots Partnerships for Pacific Solutions event will be hosted by a collaborative effort of Tongan farmer organisations: the Growers Federation of Tonga, MORDI Tonga Trust, and Nishi Trading Company Limited, members of the Pacific Farmer Organisations.
Participate in hands-on activities that showcase the many ways in which breadfruit is used as a sustainable and nutritious food source, as well as its use as a source of income for farmers throughout the Pacific.
Two days including strategic planning activities, hands on collaboration, and discussing ways to overcome the challenges in expanding the impact and role of agriculture in education.
A special event that will highlight both the practical steps being taken at the grassroots level and the remarkable achievements of leaders in the field to address climate change.
The week of events has been made possible by the European Union, DFAT, Agricord, FORI, ACP, Breadfruit People, FO4ACP, Growers Federation of Tonga, MORDI Tonga Trust and Nishi Trading.
